‘Giggino ‘o bello’ is a short film made at La Poudrière (animation school in Valence, France), which tells the story of an old criminal who raises his grandchild in a basement in Naples. When the latter becomes old enough to venture outside, he discovers a freedom that his grandfather had given un on decades before. The old criminal will have to weigh up the price of this freedom and decide whether to grant it to his grandson or not.
